Developing rugby in the community is an important part of the work of the Jungle Crows Rugby Club. We currently have two part-time coaches, Sanjay and Sukra, who run our small rugby development programme. This work consists of organised and programmed coaching sessions as well as ad hoc events and activities.
We run a rugby coaching programme for an NGO rehabilitating street children - Ashalayam. We go into schools to teach and run tag rugby for juniors. We engage with corporates through our own touch rugby competition. We have our own Rugby Tens competition each year. We operate a small coaching programme on Sagar Island in the Bay of Bengal . We welcome coaches and guest players to come and join us during our training sessions so that they can pass on their skills and experience.
The Jungle Crows are always on the lookout for interesting events and activities that give us a chance to showcase our sport and club. If you'd like to be part of the Crows or invite us to your event then please contact us at jungle.crows@gmail.com
